What Is an Angry Bird and Why Is It on My Cell Phone?
What is this thing called Angry Birds? Who is interested in this game called Angry Birds? Why are all of these people playing this game? Who, what why all wrapped up in one game; Angry Birds. How many people do you know who play this game? How many times have you seen someone playing this game on a bus, train, plane or subway. Some even have carpool competitions. What is this game and why do people play?
I guess I am just old as I have just found out that Angry Birds is a game where you slingshot different colored birds at pigs. The pigs have stolen the birds eggs and now they are out for revenge. The more you destroy the pigs fortress the higher the score. There are even different levels you can achieve.
Some of these birds have special powers. You could be surprised when your bird is blowing up on a target. A different one increases its speed with a screen touch. Their formations can change when they near the target. I get so confused, but that comes with age.
So guess who is now one of those people who play Angry Birds? Ok so it is me, never thought I would have given in and become a fan. Yes I have completely fallen for this game as it is addictive. I have to admit I am hooked. My grandchildren know more about it than I do so I am constantly learning from my twin grandchildren. They take their parents phones and play while waiting for doctors appointments. They play and stay occupied in the car on long trips. Here is a hint, you need to have a car charger for your cell phone because the batteries can go low in a hurry, I learned that one the hard way.
So feel free to take your place among the many players of Angry Birds. Do not be ashamed go forward and smack those pigs, tear down their forts and aim true to win. Feel free to look over someone’s shoulder to find new ways to complete your mission, of course ask first or they may take offense.
There are many ways to extend your game time, you can play on your phone and now on your PC, Laptop or even a Netbook or now a Tablet. So many ways to enhance your play, now even with plush toy Angry Birds and Piglets. Go ahead play and enjoy and smack those Pigs.
Tips To Use Playstation 3 As A Media Center!
First you need to know that ps3 is a very powerful machine and if you want to use it as a media center trough the computer it maybe your computer that’s not that fast to it can play the big Blu ray movies. You can transfer movies, pictures and music direct to your ps3!
If you want the most of your ps3 as a media center then you can install Linux on it.
It’s a bit tricky but there are great guides to it just search Google for Linux +playstation and you will find it.
If you want to stream trough the computer I think the best way is to have a wire to the hub but a fast wireless will do it to. So when you have decided to.
Then you need good software to get the movies music and pictures to the tv screen.
The best software I have found is PS3 Media Center X from Red Kawa this is a simple program to use and all the things you need to now is in there site. If you want to transfer movies you have to convert them you can use: PS3 Video 9 that is a free video conversion application developed by Red Kawa. It allows you to convert your computer video files (like avi, divx, mpeg, etc.) into the specific video formats that are playable on the PlayStation 3. This can take a bit time but it’s definitely worth it. You can start some before you go to bed and they will be finished when you wake up!
So now you have it wired or wireless up to your TV and can start converting movies to your PS3.Some movies are really big so I think you shall buy the premium version with 60gb HD.
This was just a fast guide how you can expand your PS3 to a media center.
